They came back with vengance. After a last-minute knock-out last year, now there was no way top stop Francesco Zampacavallo & Carlos Frances Armengot (ESP) from winning the 2023 Vaurien World Championship in Le Havre.

After 12 tough races in ever-changing conditions of Le Havre, with strong current being the dominant factor, the team from Valencia had collected only 32 points, proving their dominant performance.

Runner-up (2nd place) was claimed by Antonio  “Tone” Perez Castro and Paloma Gonzalez Esteban (ESP), follow by the French-Dutch team of Brieuc Drougou and Daan Stoel.
